Dio - 1987 - Dream evil

The LP starts with an hallucinating keyboard sound that opens the first track "night people.
"All of Dio's elements of sorcery, imagination and top notch heavy metal are there.
The solos are challenging but melodic and the structures of the songs are inspiring.
There might be some weaker moments in songs like "I could have been a dreamer".....maybe.
It's not a rocker or a ballad.
It is a very reflective song.
But all in all it is classic Dio.
No apologies and go - for - the - throat metal.
It does not have the five star treatment due to the couple of weak moments as stated before.
But all in all if you are into Dio....You Dream Evil!
